Which type of pump SHOULD be in a 1992

The engine in my 92 has a vp44 pump (round output, not the inline pump) is this right or has there been some modification to the engine. From as far as I can tell (from reading countless threads on TDR) it should be the inline P7100. I have just bought this pickup and was checking it out. New to the CTD just hopped over the fence from the Fix or repair daily 6. 9 and not looking back.

You have the correct pump for that year, but I think you mean a VE...

You may be experiencing information overload. Litterally every aspect of the first gens is in this forum. Including some inovative reengineering. The P pumps have been installed but the VE is your correct pump.



92 was a good year. As was 89 90 91 and 93.



Welcome to the group. Where are you from, or living at the moment. Some of the guys are away from what they call home.

Washington state for the moment. I looked pretty thoroughly thru the posts to get the brakes fixed and found just solving that one problem was worth the price of admission. Thx for the help.

As long as you own a first gen, I would bet that you won't let your subscription expire.



I have bought three trucks for parts and several parts items. I have met some really great folks through the TDR contact. Even without a first gen (maybe without even a truck), I would keep my subscription.



Of course you can read the forums without being a member but the information exchange is what it's all about. And you get the magazine which I don't even open (pretty much an internet experience for me) but there is good stuff in that as well.
