I don't have a wiring diagram for my 03 and want to hook up a selector switch: air/electric for my horns. I need the location and color code of the hot wire to the horns. Hopefully some nice easily accessed wire!:p

Splice into the horn

I spliced a wire into the horn hot lead, run it into single pole, single throw switch under the dash and run a wire from the other side of the switch to the operate lead on your air horn solenoid. Your electric hor will always work, but you can disable your air horns.

Hope this helps, Wiredawg

Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question, but I could make a suggestion:

When I wired my airhorns, I traced backwards from the horns themselves and found the hot wire (when the horns were actuated). I tapped into that wire in order to trip the relay that would operate the air solenoid for the airhorns. I then put a switch in that line. That way I could flip the switch and have my choice of factory horn -or- airhorns plus factory horn. The benefit here is that if your blow your horn for an extended period of time, you may deplete your air tank... and at least then your factory horn could take over with out you having to toggle a switch. It worked out great on my 01. My 04. 5 is still bone stock :(
