Which Wire do i tap?

I am hooking my Di-pricols back up and each gauge has its own dimmer..... What wire do i tap for gauge lighting on an 06?



I have heard that i need to becareful on the 06's as they are touchy electrical systems?



So anyone know which wire to tap for my lighting for the gauges?

this may not work for yours but i tapped into the wire going to the radio lighting, i also added a dimmer under the dash so i could fine tune the brightness of my pillar gauges

Cig lighter is yet by far the safest.

Maybe i posted wrong... But i am looking for the wire to tap for the gauge lighting to be lit when the park lights are on... .



Danin says not to use the dimmer on the headlight switch... . So what wire do i tap then?

This is what I did on my 05. I don't know if it will work on a 06, but it might be something you can look for on yours.

Maybe i posted wrong...

No you didn't, I should have said the light that shines on the cig lighter. It dims with all the other lights and is on it's own feed.

I tapped the wire at the fuse block that dims the cluster lights and it works just fine on mine, I think it was tan w/white stripe on mine.
