Ok guys, a clutch job is nearing, so I want to do some research so I don't have to tear things apart twice.

While I have the whole thing apart... what can I do to my engine/transmission/t-case etc. in terms of maintenance and upgrades?

What is there besides rear main and cam plug? Anything else I should take care of while I have the chance?

Any cool upgrades that I can do while it's all apart?

Thanks!

On an as-needed basis-

Rear output seal of transmission

Front input seal of t-case

rear output seal of t-case

New little bootie to go on the transmission tower, as the old one is probably leaking.

New u-joints on front drive shaft, as they can go years without use (well, maybe not with your 1-wheel RWD) and grease worms get up in there and after eating the grease, they eat the needles in the u-joints. Hey, they get hungry, gotta eat what they can.

Check out condition of t-case and adaptors; replace as needed. I have a feeling I'll be hearing from you. ;)

Does that mean I need to change my phone number? Not that you'd know which one to call [I've only given him 3 or 4 in the last month]. But seriously, if you need it, you know how to get ahold of me. I've been under my pickup enough lately, I can almost draw you pics from memory.

Another tip- lightly lube the input shaft and pilot bushing with some grease.
