White Gauges

Has anyone installed white gauges in there truck? I am looking at Autometers Phantom series gauges but was just curious how they looked with the stock black ones. Anyone have pics? Thanks.

I have the Dipricol white face boost and egt in the pillar pod,I like them because they are easy to read. They might be in a pic I took of my tach,I am going to post the pics later today in the "couple of electrical problems" thread.

Yes, I have some in my 89, and as I'm getting to be an old geezer they are much easier to see at night. Turbo Boost, Exhaust Backpressure, Pyrometer, and a white faced Stewart Warner Tach 4". John.

I, not being quite so old do not have that problem, I just like the way they look!Oo. Question though, what is exhaust backpressure? Is that similar to vaccume?

I use it for two purposes. First to spec the engine with the propers turbo and exhaust snail. There is a proper ratio between exhaust backpressure (taken between cyl head and turbo inlet) Secondly I use it to check the effectiveness of my Pac-Brake and its correct operation. John.
