Installed White Knight backup lights Saturday and I can finally see behind me now when I back up at night. What a great upgrade!!! My first bomb!!

I used to have a camper shell on and it was impossible to see back at night until I did what you did. After market backup lights are a great invention.

I got mine from Geno's and I love em. About a year after installing them one of the lenses fell out on the highway. I emailed the company that makes them inquiring about buying a new light and they sent me two new ones free.

The only other problems I have had with them have been related to corrosion in the wiring. Twice I have had to pull them off the truck and repair a corroded terminal on the relay. I really want to move the relay to a safer spot but just have not gotten around to it.

Here is a shot of them installed

Got mine at Geno's too. About a hundred bucks incl. shipping. If you order from Geno's, they include the trailer plug relocate bracket which you'll need. Easy install and there's a switch back at the lights that you can turn them on with the truck off. There's a 3 wire pigtail included that I would recommend getting a piece of that split sheathing to cover it with and zip tie it. Makes a nice install.

Hitch pin..... now that you mention it there may be a problem accessing it with a regular box, I have a flatbed so I have a lot of room between the lights and the box so I can get to it from the top easily.

Wiring..... I just followed the recommended method, one hot wire, one backup light wire, and one ground.

i have these and i have yet to be able to get the hitch pin in with my locking hitch pin cause it sits to far back for me to get it in. i love these light but just wish i could used it with my drop down or my lighted ram insert!

anyhow who can help please let us know cause these things rule! ut now i can't use them :( or to dumb to figure it out!

I had concerns about getting the hitch pin and a lock on with the lights, so I mounted mine under the receiver. I used a piece of metal, bolted it to the top of the housing before asssembling the 2 halves together, and then attached it to the receiver with big hose clamps. That put it a little lower and the light gets down under the trailer better so you can see teh tires on it when backing. It has been perfect that way for a year and no problems
