FYI: white-knuckleoffroad.com is finishing the final test fitting for the 2500/3500 longbed this week and will be available immediately after!
I will be ordering a set with the powder coat and .120 DOM outer rail and Diamond Top Plates on the rears. These are bolt on and capable of
jacking up the entire side of the truck with a high lift jack. A little traction tape from a RV store below all 4 doors and I will have the steps from
he double hockey sticks. And my pristine rocker panels will remain so... Can't wait

Crap, the prices on these are outrageous, ol poor boy like me couldn't afford these, matter of fact even if i could afford them, don't think i'd waste the money, glad someone has money to burn, well good luck, hope they satisfy you

You must be an auto-body man by trade??HA HA. A quality set of steps are at least 50% the cost of these and they do absolutely 0 at protecting your truck.Nor can you use them as a
jacking point. Money to burn? I paid cash for my truck- haven't had a car payment in over a decade. Plan on keeping her forever. These are just an investment. What is some peace of
mind worth? Not to mention- they look Great!

Like i said, Good Luck, hope they work out for you, Monte

Thank you Monte, I believe they will. I do not plan on doing any rock crawling with my longbed- but I will be towing a travel trailer to all sorts of interesting spots.
Just planning ahead :)

Those are nice. Cost is about right. There's about $100 of material, but obviously a good amount of welding. There's a relatively small market so there is a good amount of profit in there.

The customer just has to suspend/support them in-place and bolt them on. All the engineering/ fabrication is paid for, including the 1/4 inch of flex involved in the lifting of
1 side of your truck with a jack. I like the look more than the tack on truck steps. Seems more practical.

Forgot to add- I will be able to finally mount my electric actuator for my parking brake to the spars of these sliders/steps. Did not want to drill my frame-now I won't have to.
It will be nice to get my parking brake back. I ripped out the OEM to make room for speakers in the kick panels. The actuator is from E-stop and you can hide the switch for
extra theft protection.I believe the company has some videos on youtube.

The rock sliders are very popular with the Tacoma and jeeps. The ones on my jeep have been put to good use many times.I could have benefitted from them on a late night traverse of the Baja Peninsula on a goat trail and again in Death Valley crawlimg through a washed out canyon to avoid back tracking a hundred miles.Nice find inlinesix3million and they are in So Cal too

I had sliders on my previous 4Runner and DX pickup, but the thought has never crossed my mind for my QCLB and it has been some tight places. The ability to jack off the slider would be nice, but hi-lifts are too unstable to make it safe enough on a 8-9K lb truck.. One little slip is either new sheetmetal or stitches, at best.

When a friends truck lost its 4wd in the middle of a one day off road trip it was the hi lift that got us out of an ugly jam.We used the wheel hooks from hi lift and they earned their price and then some. The lift required was much less than what a higher point on the body or frame would have required.

I love my hi-lift, and it saved my bacon a few times back in my wheeling days. It just makes me a little more nervous with such a heavy truck now, but I always have it with me.

Thanks Bob 4x4- I initially emailed them to inquire about custom work pricing and to see if it was practical, dollar wise. John @ white knuckle replied that he was finishing up
the test fitting on a set that very week and then on to production. So i just got lucky on that one for sure! I just happened to find someones Power Wagon blog while I was
looking @ front bumper possibilities- and he had a set of the sliders on with pics showing how they were mounted without drilling or welding being strictly necessary. That was
how I found out about the white knuckle offroad website in the first place.
When I bought the truck from the original owner, it had a set of WAAG steps on it that attached to the frame with steel straps. The tubes were badly rusted, but the straps and
spars were still solid. I had planned on having some faux-sliders made that would bolt up in place of the old tubes and call it a day. I have searched on line and it appears that
no manufacturer's steps attach this way any longer.
I will probably be able to modify and repurpose some of the old mounts to hang stuff off the frame( air tank off a big rig and maybe a 100% duty cycle compressor)

Correction on the steel straps. I removed the old brackets from the WAAG steps today. They are the same design as the white knuckle rock sliders- just not as over-built.
You have a bolt above and below the frame rail going thru a flat piece of steel on the inboard side of the frame - thru a bracket on the outside.

AH64ID-I will most definitely err on the side of caution while jacking up the truck! Will stick with the floor jack whenever possible. I don't plan on going on any safari's with
my truck- just tow and haul stuff. But, when you go off -pavement , a rock ledge or stump can sometimes "jump out" when you are looking the wrong way:{
That would be my luck,anyway.
On another subject, I saw on another thread that you had researched 2014 Dodge 18" wheels and discovered the holes for the center caps had to be enlarged for free spin kits
to work. Have you heard of anyone making some sort of caps that would fit properly on the rears? I was bummed when I read it cuz I had my eye on a set of the 6 spoke Longhorn
wheels. Was going to go with a 285/70/18 or 285/75/18 off road tire with a 4000+ weight rating. I like my Dura Grapplers on the highway-great mileage, smooth ride, wet road traction, etc...
But,I wanted a second set that would hold up on ID and NV backroads. I hear that some of the volcanic rocks can be pretty sharp. I would like to not have to carry more than 2 spares when
I go camping/ exploring. Do you have any recommendations for an 18" tire brand/model? Thank you sir!

Well i guess i opened my mouth when i should have been opening my ears, got rid of the Chrysler 300 today and got a jeep trail Hawk rock crawler, seems like these might be the perfect combo for it, we'll see, Thanks for the web sight anyway, Monte

You are most welcome, Monte. John @ white knuckle offroad deserves all the credit, though. He makes a well- engineered product with a proven track record( based on the good reviews from
folks who actually put them through the paces they were designed for). I ordered mine earlier today, and should receive them in 5-6 weeks. I have no doubt they will exceed my needs and
expectations- and will make the extra effort to learn how to upload some pics to this thread. I will be needle scaling the frame rails between the front and rear axles and doing the POR 15
process. I will also be doing the same to the rear axle before I install new bilstein 5100's and EGR Kevlar and stainless brake lines, EBC calipers, and silver painted Napa rebuilt calipers. I will
also be installing OEM premium brake pads:) Not to mention, a new cat back MBRP 409 stainless exhaust as my stock exhaust rusted through after the muffler the last time I was home:(
I will take appropriate pics with my Android phone and upload as soon as I learn how. I always enjoy a thread or a comment that includes some great pics. I will be very happy to be able to
give some of that back!
