White Knuckle Offroad Rock Sliders for Longbed

This was the one and only bolt that gave me any problem. My fuel tank was replaced by a local shop because the original owner glued the rollover vents closed#@$%! So I don't know if my clearances changed any from stock. It took me almost an hour for this position- the rest went like clockwork. You insert the bolt thru the backing plate
on this one and thread it thru at an angle to the mounting plate.Then you swing the backing plate up into position to insert the top bolt. I had to move the wiring harness above the tank out of the way.It is clipped into place along with the fuel hard lines right next to where my backing plate needed to end up.

Is there a diamond tread plate that installs on top of these?, They look great by the way, just wondering about the tread plate, seen some on the web site with them, Nice,Monte

They have a diamond plate option that covers the whole shebang.

By the way, The lower portion of the truck was sprayed with Rhino Lining when the truck was 2 weeks old. Along with the the tops of the bed rails and bed. Not bragging...just saying that this
strategy works in the long run. No rust in any of these areas despite the truck living in eastern seaboard/rustbelt areas most of it's life. Also,the wheel wells had factory covers.

You must be an auto-body man by trade??HA HA. A quality set of steps are at least 50% the cost of these and they do absolutely 0 at protecting your truck.Nor can you use them as a
jacking point. Money to burn? I paid cash for my truck- haven't had a car payment in over a decade. Plan on keeping her forever. These are just an investment. What is some peace of
mind worth? Not to mention- they look Great!
