2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission White Lettering on Tires

Black side out!!! We're not driving sports cars here.

I usually put the white lettering out when I purchase them brand new.

Then after a couple of years I switch them to the inside.



Kind of an anal way of rotating my tires however because our trucks ball joints don't adjust camber to well... I feel they dont wear on the inside section of the tire. So after a couple years I switch them around to wear that side in.

Just a note - my 315/70r17's came black on both sides so thats the way they'll be.

If I had a white truck I might consider it, otherwise there is nothing on the truck to match the white lettering. I go blackside out.

I "outgrew" them at age 19. I dont buy em, if for some reason I end up with them as in used vehicle or a good price, they go in.

Helps those innocent bystanders see what truck is spinning the tires!(as if the black smoke,white smoke, and dual straight pipes aren't enough)

What about the mud flaps that (I hope) your ordered from West Pointe?

I don't buy tires with white letters. On a 4X4 the letters on the inside look worse than they do on the outside.
