I just got the white nights from Genos and was wondering if you can still use a locking pin to keep people from stealing the hitch. Also any ideas or pointers on hooking up a switch inside the cab. And I did do a search and found little to go on. Thanks for the time.

I use a locking pin on mine. It's tight, but it works.

I wired a switch in my center console for the backup lights. It essentially amounts to having the ability to "arm" the backup lights. If I don't want them to come on, I just turn the switch off. If the switch is on, then the lights come on with the reverse lights. I had them wired to come on with the switch, but I left them on one morning and ended up blinding some people behind me. Now they come on with the backup lights.

One other thing. I don't know how many of you take your trucks through the car wash, but my father has an explorer with these lights and had two sets ripped off before he figured out where his lights were disappearing to. He drilled holes and zip tied the outer case to the base and it's more secure now.
