Archived white smoke

Today I drove my truck to work no problems. After work I started the truck and it ran rough and blew heavy white smoke out the exaust. I tapped the pedal twice and it smoothed out and stopped smoking. Any ideas?

I'd guess it got air in the fuel line somehow. Can be caused by a lot of things and finding the leak can be tough. Suggest you just watch it for a while and see if it happens again.
