I was wondering about the front bumper on that white 1st Gen at the top of the 1st Gen page. Anyone know anything about it?

Thanks Moose00! Looks like Greg Whale's "Tug Boat" was quite a project. Does he have a different user name that anyone is aware of? I didn't find him in the members list.

When you find out what his user name is can you let me know I would like some closer pics of his bumper. Thanks!

The bumper was a winch bumper made by Warn. It has been discontinued several years. It was called the "Enforcerer". I bought mine around 1996 or so, and after 10 yrs+ of abuse, the plastic end caps need replacement. No luck finding any parts. They used the same facebar for Fords and Chevies, but different install kits and trim.

I'm getting a bumper made for my truck but I would like to see some pics of your bumper to get an idea of what I want. Could you post some pics or PM me? Thanks

I'll try to add some pics to my gallery when I get my camera figured out. BTW I must have developed a typing stutter, the bumper is an Enforcer, not Enfocerer.

That bumper looks like a drop bumper w/out license plate or hitch ball provision, and of course the "fancy" plastic corners. I like it.

The "drop" portion is for a hidden winch to mount below frame level. There is a plate with Dzus fasteners on the top flat portion to access the winch ( which I never got around to). I believe they were rated for a 12K winch. There are also provisions for driving/fog lights in the corners. I love the look from the front, but it looks a little buck-toothed from the side due to the extra length for the winch mount.

I finally got around to taking a few pics of my bumper. They are in the 1st gen section of the photo gallery. If I get a chance I will remove the license plate to show you the hole where the fairlead mounts and the bracing for the winch mount.
