Hey one of my buddies that builds cool stuff for trucks told me today that he will be building a power box type of thing (kinda like the BD's accessory fuse block thing but way neater). Hes thinking on a couple different sizes like 10, 15, 20 circuit. It has it's own power feed and every circuit is customizable. You can set each circuit to be-key on, accy& run, run only, always on, ect. and with/without manual swith. It has an optional lighted switch kit or just a harness to install you own swithes. The taps to sense the key position are all plug and play so no cutting wires. any way just a poll how many are interested in one? (He wants to be kept annonamous till he gets plenty built) Leave out questions for now till he has it all figured out, we'll keep ya all posted on the updates Thanks

P. S. He mentioned a P&P controler for the A/C that will give you auto climate control but forgot to ask him mor about it.

Please post your suggestions

If he can make me one with a switch to turn off the A/C compressor when the dash switch is on defrost I'll take one. If he can make something that will keep the grid heaters turned off in cold weather when the engine is already warm that would be great too.

Sounds really neat!!! I've already purchased a painless fuse block from Geno's, but it doesn't have all the options you're talking about. I'm about maxed the capacity of the one I have, and may be interested in another.

I'm sure the market would be there for something like this!

Do you know why the AC compressor cycles when the dash switch is in defrost???

when the dash switch is in defrost the AC removes the condensation from the air inside the cab of your truck.

my AC compressor is down right now and I wish that it was on while the defrost switch is on windows condense moisture really bad in cold weather and snow.

sharing the knowledge
