Hey guys-

Well I called Daimler today and talked to the customer service guy and he said they are not covering any paint delamination on our trucks any longer. He said it is normal wear and tear. Anyways, im gonna go to the dealer, have it inspected, and if i dont get any help there, then I will preceed with a small claims lawsuit. I'm confused though, who do I sue since I dont think i can sue any dealers but how do i find the right person to sue about this matter? I am located in California...

No- it is not... . It is a paint problem that Chrysler knew about but still used inferior paint knowing that! It has been proven in a class action suit and I don't feel bad that Chrysler can pay for a new paint job since they didnt do it right the first time... If the paint was not peeling off, i wouldnt have a problem since the body is perfect. A 1996 truck's white paint should not be peeling. my 1998 black camaro looked brand new, no peeling paint.

you file against the CEO of the corporation or their designated representative. Their investment site may tell you who is actually in charge. File against the head guy and you know the lawyer will get it.

I am going through this right now. I have a court date next month. You have the right addresses. When you go to file your lawsuit they have advisers there to help you. They will point you in the right direction.
