Who drives your cummins?

Ok fellas, how many people besides yourself do you let drive your 24V rig?

I only have 1 friend that I let drive. No lady has ever tried they are too scared.

Who do you let navigate your beast?

While I do drive the truck the most, my wife does drive once in a while.

I drive it 99% of the time. My wife drives only occasionally. I have invited her to use the go pedal more, but she's quite content to putt around in it #ad

My wife hasn't driven mine yet (that's OK) I think she's waiting for me to put the first dent in it.
I let a Cummins owning friend drive it the first week I had it, just so he could compare it to his 12V/auto.
The only woman that's driven it is a diesel mech. and drives a first gen. with the five speed.

ME! {edit: forgots to add:: Myself & I & Ben - so thats 4 on REAL regular basis} (and probably some monkeys when it was delivered to the dealer) OH, and the local Amsoil rep (testing filter whistle problem).

The mechs at the dealer dont count, since I was along or watched CAREFULLY; nor do the car wash (billy) kids... ...

Other than the above ITS MINE and the banks... ..... but they only own 3/4's now {hehehe}.

My office manager just delivered a 3000 lb. skid of parts and picked up 750 on the way home. 411 mile round trip, and she averaged 20 mpg! She can drive mine anytime. Most of my employees have driven it at one time or another, one bought a used '00 3500 after driving mine. My daughter wanted to take mine to prom, but gave up the idea when they decided to double up with another couple. I would have loved to get the truck cleaned! Ray

I got the auto so my wife could drive the truck. In 20K miles she was driven it less that 500 miles. She does OK pulling our 5er, but I'm still watching her like a hawk.

My wife was not required to learn how to drive a stick. I will not let her drive my turbo cars. I figured that with the tourque of the mighty Cummins I could teach her to drive the truck. She has refused so far...

My wife drove mine a couple of times. One time she drove it to the local donut shop where some construction-types go for coffee in the morning. She pulls up (a tall blonde, mind you) and the hammer-slammers eyes got big! She also thought the guys probably got a bit of wood looking at her exiting my baby freightliner!

We both love the truck. So it's her truck and my toy.

She drives it for the occassional daily use. I usually drive when we go out on the weekends or when towing the 5'er. The wife has no concerns about towing . Just doesn't like driving in traffic (with or without 5'er).

No one other than the mech's have driven it.
