Surprised this hasn't been moved to the political forum... which if I understand correctly, is going to be shutdown now that the election is past.

Nope. Talking bout relaxing, beer, fartin' and burping'. Elections over..... time to relax some.

I guess you mean a Republican candidate who would have promised more freebies than your kenyan communist?

Be honest with yourself. We know why you handout seekers voted for the communist.

Harvey, I did not vote for Obama! I'm just saying, Romney wasn't the best choice for the Republican side.

Sorry, George. I misunderstood your comment.

Romney was not my choice, Newt was but Newt has far too much baggage and the voters chose Romney.

Rommey goofed up on a few issues so he lost the female, Hispanic/latino vote and of coures the college kids vote because they are taught by liberals.

Rommey and his staff should be made to live on middle income salarly or a immigrant.

I liked Rommey because he could run a profitalbe business and his conservative views.

You use the word "communist" quite often. You even label Obama as a communist. I can almost bet that if Obama were a true communist or as much of a communist as you give him credit for,all yapping pomeranians like yourself would have been taken out back and gassed long ago. Your whining, crying, name calling and all around vomit spewing give all republicans a bad name. It must really suck to be as miserable of a republican as you. And may God have mercy on those who don't agree with you or see things the way your withered, elderly, catholic/christian butt does. My God..... if I were as negative as you, I'd kill myself.

Yes, I do because that's what he is. His early mentors were America haters who identified themselves as communists.

If you are too naive to understand or to blinded by the promises of handouts that's your problem, not mine. We'll all be paying for the disaster he is creating and will be making worse very shortly. A very long list of big companies have already announced massive job layoffs as a result of his reelection. Watch and see.

I can't say anymore. None of this should be posted in this forum. I posted my first comment without realizing it was a political topic in a forum other than the political forum.

Romney gave away his entire inheritance and to date has given over $14 mil to charity. He's helped a lot of middle classers and immigrants live a better life through his generiousity.

This wasn't his time and I'm sure he'll enjoy being out of the spotlight.

The two parties are going to have to come up with a formula for more revenue. A reduction in writeoffs would be the most politically correct as nobody wants to increase tax rates.

Here in Ca, taxes just went up again in the form of Prop 30 statewide and Prop Z here in San Diego. My property tax just went up another $100/yr.

The Dems want to modify Prop 13 which limits property tax increases to exclude commercial property. Their taxes would increase significantly and drive them out of the state. Luckily the votors have some cajones and will defeat this upcoming attempt in July.

I'm fortunate to have a paid off house and a modest retirement or I'd have to move.

Most of the media and ohers are Monday morning quarterbackin the election just past with comments about what Romney should have done or not done. I don't think any Republican candidate could have beaten the Democrat platform even if Big Bird and Mickey Mouse had been on that ticket. Their programs sound great but they depend on taxes to fund all. The people who re-elected the Kenyan are those who want more handouts and freebies. That's fine but someone still has to work to keep things going and that group is not growing in numbers. Over the last sixty years we have nurtured a culture of people who wont work and now they and the illegals about outnumber us and it's coming home to haunt us. bg

Glad for all the commercials gone... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . I need help, I have TDR magazine issues starting from Issue 27 Winter of 2000 to issue 77, Aug. Sept and Oct. 2012. I want to get rid of them and would like to know if anyone would like to have them. It would cost you the postage only. Please e-mail me at -- email address removed --. Thank you. David

Because your retired has nothing to do with prop 13 if it goes thru it will hit ALL people retired or not. Some to vote to take Prop 13 away would have to be an idiot but WHATS NEW IN CALIF. Want to buy a house? its paid for but we are thinking of selling for less JUST TO GET TOTALY AWAY FROM CALIF. what a bunch of *****8 ******** are they there.

California is worse off than you think. The Dems now have their "Super Majority" and have the 2/3 vote to do anything they want, including nulifying prop 13. Taxes will most certainly go up until folks figure it out and put things back in balance. The larger question is can we survive that long.

Don't know I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER about politics and DONT WANT TO but wasn't RYAN an ANCHOR around Romney's neck? Christie from NJ or the guy from TX Cruz ?? would have been a better choice.

Calif has ALWAYS been a Dumo state. So WHY would George and the other movie stars VOTE TO INCREASE THIER PROPERTY TAX?? they live in more $$$$$ homes than the rest of you. And its a VOTE TO remove Prop 13 even the homeless on skid row wouldn't vote for that. BUT THEN AGAIN IT IS CALIF.
