A Google search on "John Titor hoax" and you find quite a bit of evidence of it being a hoax. For example, we are pretty much past the time he said the US civil war would begin.

I do remember he said it would start sometime in 2004. However, if we were to be on a slightly different worldline than him and "his" war, it could start later than "his" history stated.



Not trying to say he is correct, just thinking of how he said it may be different since we knew about it, although he also said us knowing about it could not prevent it, but maybe delay it?
