2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Who has a crack/crack's in their dash? Informal Poll

I have an 01 with a SHATTERED dash. It was cracked so bad from the mount screws all the way to the front, on both the passenger and drivers side, that I finally bought one of those hard covers that I painted to match(tan color) and then covered that with a dash mat. I can still hear it crack every once in a while when I am driving. I now have a problem that my bezel keeps cracking along the top side of it. I have used JB Weld to epoxy a few of the cracks and need to take it off again to add more patches I guess. I am not happy with this but had heard about the problem before I got the truck. I like it, but with the K&N and 4" Silverline SS Exahust, it is loud as heck, and I sometimes wish I had just bought the 03 that was for sale at the same place for a grand more when I got it. Oh well.

I got one big crack in the center of my 01. I plan on welding it shut from the top and then add a cover only if it looks bad. I don't know which, a Carpet or shell from Genos'... (Yes I have a plastic welder from eastwood).

I have a 94. The dash started cracking two years ago and just kept going. Long story short, I asked the local dodge dealer what it would cost to replace. Gave me an instant quote of $750... ... flat rate they had done so many of them! Took 'em up on it. Regards, steve whalen

My dash turned into chunks after a heater core change! The dash mat hides it well but it makes me scared to lift it up to find the holes getting bigger.

No cracks the dirt protects it from UV and the spilled coffee holds it all together

My dash was crackless until I had a radio installed then a small crack started by the middle defroster vents (I quess they flexed the dash to much) by the next morning it went all the way to the front of the dash. Now I have two small cracks by the passenger side defroster vent.

Oh well it was bound to happen sooner or later.
