Complaints? How long did your end joints last? Was it hard to install? Any breakage? My Moog track bar didn't last, so it is time for something more radical. Would you buy it again? Thanx in advance.

Gary

I have one on a lifted truck running 35 inch tires. I'm going on 30,000 with it and have had 0 problems. I have also installed a couple on other trucks, easy installation. I would definately recomend it.

I just purchased mine through the group purchase. I just put it on two days ago and haven't really driven the truck since. I have noticed driving to and from work that the truck drives straighter and turning seems to be improved. The only problem I had installing it was trying to remove the bracket off my skyjacker lift. It was really on there and there wasn't much room to get a wrench on the nuts on the inside of the bracket. I have 35" tires also. The truck also seems to track better.

I set up the group purchase and put mine on two Thurday's ago...

Along with my DSS, my pickup now is 90% free of steering wander/bump-steer. I believe that the rest lies within bad balljoints, a loose/worn out steering box, and possibly an air pocket in my power steering system / problem with vacuum system.

Definitely worth it to me, and you can see my tips on install here:

I haven't had mine long enough to comment on it's durability but it definitely helped my steering. Do yourself a favor and get Darin's steering stabilizer also.

Mike

Looks like Darin (DSS) is going to make a bracket to put the 03 track bar on our trucks. It will be available in Nov. I will wait for that. I talked to Dt today and I have a real issue with it being made out of aluminum. I do plan to install the DSS system as well.

I had my DT track bar installed in April 2002, a little over 30K miles ago. I had it done at a shop, at the same time as my Skyjacker lift kit. About 2 months ago, I also installed the DSS steering stabilizer bar.

I was just under the truck this last weekend inspecting everything thoroughly before I leave for an Elk hunt in northern Utah in 2 weeks, and there is absolutely no sign of any wear or problems with the DT track bar :D

It was worth every penny to me.

Tom

Hey wait I'm free in two weeks, can I go?

Just ordered mine Monday. Didn't want to, but the Sky Jacker adjustable is for ~4" lift and above. There went like $300 bucks.

I've got just 10k on mine, but it's great. Very straightforward to install. The people at DT are great to deal with if you can get ahold of them.

Dave.

I have read many post on how hard it was to get ahold of the people at DT. I called them one time... They were very patient with me and answered all of my questions before I purchased. I thought the customer service was fantastic. I order on Tuesday and it arrived on thursday... I installed it on Friday. . So I have now had it for about 5 days... No problems... . It has been worth it so far!! Not sure if the DW is gone... I haven't really had a bump to try it out on... Was it worth it... . Yes!!!!!! The steering is tight again! :D
