I am getting ready to add a Pyrometer "2654" and a Boost "2616" gauge. I think I'm stuck on the Z-Series, they look to be as close to factory as I've seen. I would appreciate any input both positive and negative. I am also looking at getting the full a pillar for the 2 gauges. Who has the best deal and service out there?
Thanks Guys!

Best prices, probably Summit. Best customer service, the folks at DIS are always knowledgeable, respectful and polite, that's worth a few dollars in my book.

I buy all my Autometer stuff from Summit. I have the Sport Comp series which looks close to stock, especially when you use the green or blue bulb covers. You can also special order for about 5 bucks more, black bezels on your gauges, so you get the accuracy of the Sport Comp series and a look even closer to stock.

Summit has the best prices but they are always on back order, they tell you in a week then in 3 weeks... ... ... ...

Thanks Guys for all the input so far. If you have any links to these places I would appreciate that also. Couldn't find anybody that had the VDO's.

I just bought gauges and triple pillar mount from Geno's. The pillar mount was on back order for about a week. I called Janetty, and they had them in stock, but the price was about $20 more. I decided to wait, and I received everything a couple of days later.

I ordered my autometer sport comp egt with probe, transmission temp and boost with triple pillar from Summit. The gauges came within 48 hrs and the pillar was back order took 6 days. Good Luck. Use the A pillar as a replacement not a cover, easy to do. Summit was real helpful and very nice. Oh almost forgot I used the blue bulb covers, matches my stock panel lights. Later

Does Summit list them on a web site or in their catalog - just to see what they look like? What did you pay? If they have them in stock I could go pick them up - not too far from me and an excuse to drive the truck.

How about the SPA gauges?

Thanks, Blake

Summit does not list much on there website or catalog. Your best bet is to get the Part numbers from the Auto Meter web site, then call summit and give them those numbers. They stock alot of the items anyhow.

The SPA gauges are entirely digital. Personally, i cant stand them, others love them. I have too many problems with digital displays failing and also it is annoying as hell reading a gauge that is always jumping around and is not steady like a needle in an analog gauge. With an analog gauge you can glance out of the corner of your eye and see the needle and since you see it everyday, you will know what it is reading. With Digital gauges all you can see in your peripheral vision is the warning light. The LCD displays are sized small so they can fit two of them in 1 gauge, thats nice if you need to monitor alot and have limited space but makes the gauge hard to see. I have an automatic trans so all i monitor is Trans Temp, Boost and EGT. The only other gauge i will ever get is a fuel pressure gauge. So i have no need for dual displays in 3 gauges that are so small i cant read and are bouncing around like a Nintendo game. And i have no need for warning lights since i can read my analog gauges so well. Also, the back lighting in the SPA's is not very good. Its personal choice. This has been covered MANY times if you look back in other posts. Everybody is entitled to there own opinion. Some people love the Spa's, others dont. Get what is right for you.
If you are going to go analog or mechanical style, Autometer, VDO or Westach are good.
If you want SPA's i have 3 of them (used, but in mint condition with senders) that a friend removed from his truck
