Best choice is an Edge Juice W/Attitude monitor or A2. You get a full set of gauges, turbo timer, 0-60 and 1/4 mile timer, low temp defuel to save your engine when it is cold, and the A2 adds GPS and a backup camera!
You can also go with the ISSPRO Turbo Temp Monitor . Unlike timers, it monitors your post turbo EGT to determine how hot the turbo temp is in order to shut down the engine at the corect time.
The BD timer is also temp. controlled. It's adjustable from 250* to (I think) 550* and will keep the truck running up to 5 minutes or when the set exhaust temp is reached. I got mine direct from BD via internet order/mail.
Tell us about the wiring, you can get those pretty cheap and there are others even cheaper. What do we need to hook to? There are timer on flea-bay for less than $20, are these something we could use?
I'm not sure if you can use the ones on eBay, I'll have to look. But if I remember right there were 3 wires to hook up. There was a red power wire that goes to 12v constant, a black ground, and one that goes into the engine fuse in the cab and I think that wire was blue but I'm not for sure. They are a peice of cake to hook up. Hope this helps
