Alright, who wants to switch over to 6.0???

Best GENERATION Engine. What do you like?

I have only 60k miles logged driving a diesel powered vehicle and have never had my tanks dipped. I have never seen it personally, but have heard they have dipped tanks occasionally down the street from our local cattle auction.

I personally don't believe anyone should an issue about being checked if you are driving on a public road that is maintained w/tax dollars.

Dual EE: The issue to me is the searching of your personal property without probable cause or a warrant which is a clear violation of our fourth amendment protection against unwarranted and unreasonable searches and seizures. When they set fuel and dui checkpoints, it is nothing more than a fishing expedition to find something illegal without a valid reason. In reading the results of our local checkpoints, which are reportedly to find "DUI" subjects, they almost never find any DUI's. Many of these checkpoints have been at 3-5pm in the afternoon, which says that the "DUI" portion is a bogus reason to begin with. Any violations they find are almost always traffic or licensing related and have nothing to do with taking DUI subjects off the streets. This town, like many of the towns across the country, would benefit tremendously from a crackdown on the true "reckless" drivers and the "redlight" runners who operate with impunity.

demand to see a supervisor. you'd be surprised at the response you'll probably get. bottom feeder cop types don't like having their bosses called out and bosses don't want civilians making a stink threatening to take it to their bosses or worse, internal affairs. of course this only works if you are in fact innocent and are running clean fuel. if you are innocent just the mention of filing a complaint (which goes into files & haunts these guys when they come up for promotion) sets all kinds of wheels into motion. i had great, unxpected results the time i used this on an overly zealous cop over stepping his authority & got follow up phone calls from a capt. & deputy chief wanting to know if i was satisfied & a follow up letter from the chief. this is not nazi germany & you do not have to feel threatened & intimidated by people who's salaries you pay. THEY WORK FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! although that seems forgotten
