Who has mega miles on AFMKT Trans?

Effects of larger injector on wire tap box- ETC vs ETH

I have read through some of the archives on trannies.

In between the flames, I have seen a few companies mentioned over and over.

Without getting into a war about who is better than who... ... .

Could I hear from the folks who have a complete aftermarket setup with high miles?

********I am not interested in hearing opinions. There are plenty of those in the archives. ********

(pardon the blunt nature of this, but it seems every trans thread here turns into a war and I would like to avoid this. . )

I want to hear:

Horses/Tq you are putting through it,

how many miles you have on the trans,

what you tow/how you drive,

breakage if any,

support... . etc.

Thanks in advance:)

I have a dtt vb in my 01. I had injectors and a ez then added a blue box at 36 k at that point I could slip my trans. That is when I added the vb. It stopped the slipping and still runs at 94k. I also have a full dtt trans in my 97. Trans tc vb and billet input shaft. It is new I only have 9k on that trans. No problems. I tow once and awhile but mainly hot rod. Great support with Bill K. I would never go else where.

DTT by Mass Diesel

I have 70,000 total miles w/ 40K+ on the DTT that Scotty built. This last time I put 20K on the transmission fluid before changing it. The fluid and the filter both looked clean and the fluid smelled new. The first time the transmission was opened it looked and smelled like there had been a fire in there. The comp box ate the stock transmission up in 2,000 miles. I run my truck hard all the time. I drag race, street race. run at high speeds thru the desert and use second gear with the OD off as a compression break to slow the truck on long hills. So far there have been Zero transmission gliches.

So for SO GOOD!:) ;)

Is this a typo or a special-order? I though the DTT T/Cs were designated 89%, 91%, and 93%.

BTW, I don't have a full transmission upgrade, but I have had a V/B from DTT installed for about 100K trouble-free miles. It stopped the slipping when I put in the TST #6 and 215 injectors.

DTT 89% TQ/ RACE VB/Accummulator/servo/billet input shaft. Got about 5000 KM on it now hasn't skipped a beat fluid looks like new and smells like new. I drive the hell out of it and hammer it all the time. Break stands whatever. Putting approximately 425+ HP through it.

%???

The 98% number is a guestamate. Scott at Mass Diesel rebuit the transmission twice and the second time he said he did the full race package on it. So I don't know for sure what the true # is. All I know is it stays hooked up like a stick shift and acts like a compression break. I Love It!!:D :D :D
