Need Some PTO-Driven Generator Advice

Just wondering? Wife says it seems like I'm on this site all of the time and since Oct. 2000 I have around 800 posts and only avg. less than 2 per day. When I notice some of the other member numbers I am amazed. I was just wondering who were the top posters? and who had the highest average number of posts per day?

I try not to post unless I have something to say. Some people I know try to run up their posts. I have been told not long ago they didn't even have a diesel now they know everything about one. Of course I won't call names.

Well, there was a button on the top of the page up until today in the row with the "user cp" that was marked "members". You could look up members, and sort by several different criteria. It should be back so try it and see if that will answer your question.

Sounds like a good idea to know everything before you buy. I would of liked to have a 6 speed but could not find a used, in the truck that I wanted and ended up with the auto. Now I have learned that the auto is a good way to go with the DTT, ATS Etc. options.

Well, I'm nowhere near in the total posts "race", but I have an 5. 98 daily average, I did some checkin', and only "illflem" is ahead of me, 'course I could be wrong.

At this rate, it'll only take me 1036. 78 days to get to his present total. 'course if I tried it I would be fired, broke ,and single!:p :p :p

I better look fer somthin' else to take up my time. :) ;)

Theres not really a way to sort it like this. But if you didn't know you can click on a members name (while on the post list) and you'll see their profile which will contain the average number of posts per day.

For a long time I had internet access at work, so I could post from there when it was slow. But someone ruined it for all of us (got caught looking at things they shouldn't have) so they yanked everyones internet access at work. Least they actually got fired for it tho.

Yep... your wrong! ;)

Not by much tho.

Just some info in case some of you don't know, when a post is deleted then it will subtract it from your post count. Just something I noticed.

EMDDIESEL would have easily passed me in posts but then he vanished. While he was still posting his average count was up to 18 point something per day.

Okie,

Those of you who think you know it all are ruining the world for those of us that really do!:D

Besides, I'm a college student, I got to learn something since I'm not learning anything in my classes. :D

That counter *has* to be wrong. It says I have nearly 600 posts since 9/99, at just over one post every two days. Do I really babble *that* much? Maybe I *do* need a life!

Now, for some useless trivia.

  • The top 50 posters have at least 1100 posts each.
  • The next 450 posters all have more than 180 posts.
  • The next 500 have at least 71.
  • The next 1000 have at least 19 posts.
  • The next 1000 have at least 5.
  • And 7288 have never posted at all.

[Edit. No one has more than 10 posts per day. ]
  • Only 45 are over 2 posts/day.
  • And the next 1000 at least exceed one post per week.
  • The next 1100 or so have at least one post per month.
  • The next 1000 have one post per quarter.
  • The next 400 have 2 posts per year.

Have I made your day? :)

He posts every now and then. I know he was kinda in between jobs when he was posting a long time ago. I am hoping he just went back to work and has been too busy to post, the railroad can do that to you... . I see crews that work ALOT... meaning they get home... and 10 hours later they are on another train.

1.53 post per day....

I used to look at the top 10 posters all the time. What is really scarry is that guys like HVAC are still in the top ten and hardly post any more. I know Rob Spading was on that list till the big reboot, he had like 6K posts. So right now I am at #52 but you all best watch out, I am going to work hard on getting to the top. I think it would be neat to see some stats on who is making hard charges towards the top..... it would also be cool to know who is the newest member with the most posts...

not sure if the registered dates are correct... ... but thats what I pulled up when I searched for 500+ posts and joining this year LOL

Theres 8 users (including the two above) that joined this year with 100+ posts.

Kat,

I think that Gary-KJ6Q maybee a type-o,he's registered twice on the TDR once back in '00 sometime and then 2 weeks ago again. Or he's a real yapper 'cause 800 some odd posts in 2 weeks is a bit much.

Not that it really matters, just thought I'd point it out. :D
