Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Who is a good Bosch P7100 pump rebuilder?

A friend of mine has a '98 12 valve stick with a bad P7100 pump. Who is a reasonable rebuilder for the 215hp pump? Thanks

The shop in Austin that worked on mine did good work, but I think any Bosch certified shop would be good.

If the pump truly needs rebuilt it won't be cheap. It can top $2000 if plungers & barrels and governor components need replaced.

I have heard that Scheid Diesel is good with the P7100.

Checked out their web site no mention of rebuilding pumps ,but you could give them a call see if they do or who does their's.

In the old days I would just call up Piers and order a pump,either 300 or 400 hp,

You might check with BD and see if they are still offering the same option.
