Goerend or DTT/

I think both DTT and Goerends make a great product. In the end I made my choice and I am satisfied. See Sig.

 Ditto on that! I've had good luck with my DTT,but wouldn't hesitate to go with Dave if I lived closer. Good product+good customer service= a sale.

What about BD peformance? I see that they have a complete transmission for our CTDs. Just wondering if anybody out there have their set up? The reason I ask this, is in my state of ND, the only Diesel Performance shop that does trans and engine build/work that I know of in the entire state of ND is only 35 minutes away from me. They use BD and Banks with the emphasis on BD due to ease of customer service thru BD according to the owner of that shop.

im curious about anyones input about BD transmission products. theres a dealer 30min. from here also and i have them pricing out a full rebuild for me at the moment. my other option is NADP, at about 60min from here and $5k for a total package there.

What was your local BD dealers price for a full rebuild? I'm curious how that compares with my local BD dealer.

This is a DTT and Goerend thread!!!

This is a DTT and Goerend thread. Not a BD or anyone else. If you want info about any other transmission, please start another thread.

Anybody have email address to DTT? I tried to send them an email off their website, but got no reply. It is just much easier for me to use email rather than call due to my hearing impairment. Thanks.

I'd call Stefan and tell him to look for incoming. I'm not sure they watch email that closely. (apologies to Shanti if I'm wrong)

I don't believe you can go wrong with either product. I had a very tough choice between Goerend and DTT in making my decision. I probably wore both companies out on the phone over and over again. I know of both transmissions first hand from buddies trucks so I knew that both were reliable. The deciding factor in my case was the price and warranty that Goerend's offers. I am FULLY satisfied with my transmission and I would definitely do it all over again if I had to.

Do your homework and talk with both companies. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I too, like others, would stick with big names. I have a Suncoast and am very happy with it. Suncoast seems to be getting bigger and bigger and getting more recognition with guys making big power. They have a full on race/billet, I think its pretty pricey but heard its strong as hell. I have also heard excellent things about Dave Goerand, thise would be my only 2 choices for MY slushbox. To each his own though.

P. S. I know DTT has a huge following (if you can afford it) but I too dont like the idea of someone lese telling me what I want! Just my opinion, not in ANY way trying to upset anyone or sway your opinion, just chimeing in.
