Larry,

I am waiting to hear back from Tina Bean at TDR about a Delaware Valley region. I know thatyou know Tom Petrick. He has been active in helping me start a region for the Mid-Atlantic area. But TDR told me that that would be too big an area and they were not prepared to support such a large area. Eventhough I have been planning some events. If you check the "local region" board you will see what I announced yesterday. The events are more regional than local. We are going to be putting something together fot the Diesel nationals at Englishtown. So I would suggest that if you want to do something local where you are call Tina and see what she says. If I hear back from her I will let you know. I told her that a Delawre Valley region would encompass a 2. 5 hour drive from 1 end to the other. Encluding Philadelphia, all of NJ, Del and Maryland. I don't want you to feel like I an impossing on your local area but since I have met Tom he has come to a few things and I speak with him often. So it was just natural to enclude him and his area.

I will talk to you after I hear from Tina. If I hear from her first.

Thanks, I look forward to meeting you.

The mud bogs are tonight at the buck. It is about an hour and a half from you. 95 north in to harford county take rt 24 north through belair to rt 1 north. Go north on 1 until you cross over the conwingo dam. At the top of the hill turn left on 222 north. Go into pa on 222. Several miles (10?) 222 north will bear right and 272 north will go straight and a little to the left. Twards Buck Pa. Go into the town of buck and keep straight. You will come to a light at 272 north and 376or372. Go straight through on 272 north up the hill and the track is about 1 mile on the left. I will be running there tonight. I took second last time and now I'm out for the white big block ford that got me. Race starts at 7pm and I don't run until around 10 or 1030. We are usualy raped up and heading home around midnight. 410 459 4283 is my cell. I will try to e-mail you but it has been acting up lately.

Thanks for the replys, anyone have a suggestion for an inagural gathering. I spend most weekends on Kent Island so maybe something in the Baltimore or Annapolis areas on Saturday or Sunday.

There is a whole lot of other "rammers" in the area so lets get the word out to everyone and see if we can't get this started.

Larry,
The last Sunday of this month at the Anne Arundle Co. fair grounds the antique tractor people are having a pull. I know one of the guys involved and he is getting together a few truck to pull also. I'm planning on making at least one run if he gets enough people with trucks who want to run.
The fair gounds are off of Generals hwy. (take the 178 exit off of rt. 97)

As far as a MD gathering count me in.

Oh, Larry, did you make it to the J Bar W for the battle of the beast last weekend?

later
Mike

Tom,
I don't think I know what time until friday. this is a last minute deal since they just found out the fair grounds would be vacant that day. The circus booked the grounds for more days then they are in town for. I can say that it would be after all of the antique tractors have run so 7 to 9 pm would be a good guess.

As far as the PA pull, if I get back from camping with my son Friday night I'll try to make it up.

Mike B
I am pretty tied up that weekend, but may be able to make it a while on Sunday, let me know time and place where eveeryone could get together and I will send email to those on my list. If you can get a time and meeting place we can post it on the events page as well and let everyone know, maybe that will get some more interest.
Larry

Pulling a sled might be hard to do if I can't find a clutch. The PE did mine in. I should be able to find what I want by the end of next week.

I will post more about the AA county pull when I get the information.
