Not lifted so much, but I did install the leveling pods on the front. At the same time I installed 285's & bought a new 5vr. Since I installed the leveling pods on the front, my truck now sags a bit when the 5vrs hooked up. Never had a squat before, but my new 5vrs tongue weight is also heavier. Airbags are in my future. No noticeable difference while towing though.

Hope this helps answer your question a little.

I have the Skyjacker 4. 5" lift (with rear springs) and just bought a 29' toybox TT with 1220 lb tongue weight. Draw-Tite 1200 lb weight distributing hitch I still get a bit of sag, but airbags are on the way. I towed 250 miles this weekend with wind, some windy roads and a few good grades up and down with no problems. I will probably get the sway control soon, but I am real happy with this setup. I'll have some pics in the next couple days. My only for sure change will be to use an all terrain tire next time, and I may go to 4. 10 gears later.

I wouldn't call what I do "Towing all the time", but usually when we take the truck, the trailer is attached. I have the truck set-up roughly 4-5 inches taller then stock, and love the way it tows. I do think that the taller you go, the more shock you need. I also have removed the rear overload spring packs and reply on air bags for leveling my load. The absence of the overload springs has made for a very smooth ride, both un-loaded and with a load.
