The wheels are bowl shaped so that you can mount two concave faces of the wheel together on each side of the rear axle, the same type wheel is used in the front of the truck and the front hub is made differently to facilitate that. The the rear inside dual wheel is mounted in the same fashion that the front wheel is and the outside rear wheel is mounted in reverse.

Dean, Thanks for the explanation, too bad they don't make the hub the same on the SRW 3500... it looks better to me. BTW: you would think I would know that about the dually's since I own 3 of them, all work trucks, 2 chevy's and a ford.
