I got a HG set from Cummins last summer for around $160. Included $75 of injector washers (retail, anyway), valve seals, every gasket remotely related to head R&R, including t-stat gasket. Since you are a "broke" college student, you can resell what you dont use. I wouldnt get it from anywhere else. Not even Dodge. I'll look up the p/n for the kit; gaskets only (as of last Aug) are 3283335, 3283337, 3283339, for stock, +. 010", and +. 020", respectively.
Talk to some of the performance enthusiasts in the "other" 12V forum, and see how much thicker you need to go. I'd go at least . 010 over, maybe even . 020, since you want to go all out.
You gonna get the head ported while you got it off? Then you'll need some bigger injectors. Oo. Oo.

Maybe a bigger turbo. We want pics of the exhasut when you get it.
