PIAAs if you can afford them!

Had a 2000 Dakota w/ a brushguard and had two sets of PIAAs on them. Boy were they bright stock, but changed out both set with 150 watt bulbs and WOW..... Ain't nothin better that plenty of light to light your way down a dark winding backroad;)

The 160 watt sealed beam KC's are not quite as bright but for the money you can't go wrong..... especially if you get your power right at the back of the altenater ( I know this can't be the right spelling ):D :D :D

Ok, I know this is a Dodge Diesel site, but this thread is about lites. . I tried a few brands way back when and stuck with KC. .

I used to run a few on my "yota because of the back trail running we did...

The truck was nickednamed by my friends as "Bright Eyes" for reasons I think are effident.

They were the brightest at the time, and did honor their warranty. Due to the very slow speeds we traveled in the woods, some of my sealed beam bulbs developed dead spots. When ever it happened I called KC, and they sent me new bulbs. The 1st time I sent the bulb back, after that they never questioned me, I'd just call and get a new one.

I don't remember the name of the gent in the factory. . but at the time I had reconized the name, I asked and he was one in the same... . one of the top 5 Baja racers at the time.
