Zoning law question

Question for you HVAC guys

Mrs Doc has decided that microwave ovens aren't all they're cracked up to be and would like a toaster oven. I thought those things we ancient history until I stopped to take a look at a few of them the other day. From what I can see, they don't put much effort into building toaster ovens, not like the ones I remember from the 60s. Tell me where I can get a quality toaster oven.

Have you

grazed the kitchen type retailers? Are you looking at a toaster oven or a roaster oven? If you are looking for a roaster, we looked at 'em all and bought a NESCO. First rate quality and finish, and about the best turkey/rib roast/pie cooker you can own. If you want a toaster oven(much smaller), I'd geta Kitchen Aid for top quality.

Merry Christmas.

We spent an hour trying to choose on at Lowes hardwareabout two weeks ago. We have had TWO black & deckers, they last about 10 years and then the temp control mechansim conks out. The second one we made sure to get just like the first one since we liked it so much. A real nice feature is the rack slides out as you open the glass door, this is convenient for toast. It also had a warmer feature at the top that you could heat plates or what ever you want while also cooking. Doc, you did'nt say what you were going primarily to use it for. Anyhow, this time we looked at the B&D and the handle to open the front door was really cheasy, so we ended up getting a Cusinart high dollar convection oven. It is electronic, meaning that you push buttons (touch type) and it is nice to cook in because it has a fan the recirculates the heat for more even cooking, also makes incredibly consistant toast. we like it, but wish the rack would slide out as you open it. It is amazing how many are out there and each one has a feature that is nice in one way or another. This is what we consider a "personal" appliance, to get what you want means to spend alot of time fiddling with them to decide which is best for your intende use. Sorry to be so long, but I can speak with some knowledge on this subject!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I ended up getting a ToastMaster. It has a stainless steel liner that pulls out for cleaning and the rack is adjustable to three levels. Besides that, it's bigger than the other ovens, so I can get Mrs Doc to make bigger portions for me :)

After looking at the others units, this one appears to be the best for what we intend to use it for.
