once again, I'll say what I've said before... Napa refills work, and are cheap.

Rain-X sucks imho. Some of you swear by it. It does work when you first put it on, but you have to keep putting it on. Once you start, you can't go back until you get a new windshield. Once it's on there you'll never be able to get it all off. And when it starts breaking down, you'll curse the day you ever used it. You're only alternative is to reapply. And you have to keep reapplying it every few months. When I wax the truck (April and Oct) I wax the windows, too, including the windshield. This works better, and when it starts coming off at least it will all come off. My two cents.

For those of us with the dreaded Rain-X film, has anyone tried Bon Ami to remove it? I've got some I'm going to try one of these days. It's supposed to be an excellent windshield cleaner.

For what it's worth, I've gotten 100,000 miles and five years out of my stock wiper blades. I've been looking to replace them, as they are just starting to deteriorate. After reading this thread I think I will stick to the stock wiper blades. Sounds like they last at least as long as the aftermarket blades.
