I'm getting tired of my setup. I hate spending money on yesterdays technology. I heard poole's B series twins are the way to go. And F-6 injectors are the state of the art. What say You? Thanks, Chas.

I'd think the SPS 66 for the street on top! The B/B is yesterday's news... . yes I have one. The nice folks at II are going to do there magic to it very soon and turn it into a hybrid... . whole lot better wheel. The B/B is a good all around turbo and has been very good to me but it's time to match it up to the 66.

For a 24valve, i don't think you can beat F1 injectors and Olee Poole's twins.

I love my F1 injectors. I don't have a set of poole's twins, but have seen a few sets in person and have a good friend with them. They get my vote for sure.

Short of a sled pulling only rig I'd never put a BB on a 24V. Been there done that. It's terrible to drive.

With the newer EDM injectors, ecm enhancements, and hot rod pumps a big brother could be used if the right top turbo and wastegate are chosen to go with it.

Other wise a 35/40 or a schwitzer hybrid and a B2 work very well.

It's all a matter of your performance goals and usage.

Call JR he has set up some SWEET trucks, that could do all three easy. Call and talk with him, at least get some ideas and prices.

we now have our twins set up ready!! (1) 450-700HP (2) 550-800HP (3) 800-1000 HP and our singles that can handle just as much if not more, depends on the combo you choose and injectors you choose. ours are (60)HP or (80), they are very consevative #s. thanks :-laf

And you have to tell me that, why? I'm the first one to ever run a B2 from TAD in a twin set up so I think I know a little about the BB and B2. I also made 659hp uncorrected on #2 with a BB primary a year ago in a 24v. The drivability sucks with a BB with any injectors. For the additional 10hp I gained over a B2 I lost a ton in drivability.

What secondary turbo were you using? which wasegate? how was it actuated?

Just because you had a BB does not mean that the install was optimized for the lackluster 24V fueling system.

I tried a turbo about like a HX40 but with a smaller exhaust housing around a 12cm size. I also tried one bigger with the same exhaust housing. I used a Turbonetics New Gen wastegate. I ran with the heaviest spring shimmed alone, with air actuation, and air holding the wastegate closed. It all sucked for drivability. Been there done that.

I know a little about twin sets myself Mark. I was building them before you so I know a little about tuning twins and what works and what doesn't.
