Idaho CTD said:It depends on when the air is delivered. If it comes in too late for the peak fueling with a standard BB then a tighter housing on a BB would most likely net more hp (and drive a ton better) even if the drive pressure is higher.

If you used a larger compressor wheel on the secondary (bigger than a 40) you should have a denser air charge and thus more exhaust flow. Would it be enought to get move the BB's boost curve lower in the RPM range?
Ideally doing both would be great.
Morse said:Idaho, I have your old BB. . Just got the truck running a little while back. . I have the 66 on top. Poole built the twins. The total boost is only set at 65 pounds right now, though the BB is only making 20. Is that normal? It just doesn't seem right to me. I hadn't been able to play with the truck any until this past weekend, and I did find out it needs bigger injectors. Without the nitrous or water, it only smokes with a strong grey haze. Nothing like Darrens' truck, that's for sure. It has a set of Dynomite Diesel 4's now. I talked to them today, and they're gonna open them up some more. I hope this helps.
As far as twins, I only have experience with Poole. I was very upset that it took 6 months instead of the original worse case scenerio of three weeks to get my twins built. He's a nice guy though, and I have to say his work is top notch. The kit looks and fits absolutely perfect. The welds were again top notch. I could have gotten them quicker, though the end result was great.

We are building twins, several different setups offered very good pricing. Also building a street triple charger setup. Check out our website www.woodruffdiesel.com for prices and pictures the phone # is on there if you have any questions. There is a picture of the twins on our site, and if you go to www.enterpriseengine.com and go to the vendors link you will see a picture of the three charger set up that is not up on our site yet.

I think sometimes people forget how important that is. It's not about size. It's about technology. Who read the write-up on page 130 of the new TDR mag? Most will read that and be in disbelief.Diesel Freak said:It's just an indication on how well matched the compressor wheels are.
