I sometimes don't want to wait for my truck to cool down anymore. summer is comming and cool down time is long when it's 100 deg out and you had the a/c on.

Who makes the nicest turbo timer for a 3rd gen? Plug and play would be best, but next I would like the nicest display if I have to cut wires.

Viper alarm sys has many benefits

Not to confuse the issue but I wanted a good two way alarm system and remote start for my truck. I found that the Viper Alarm Sys also has a programable turbo cool mode so that I can turn the truck off and it will continue to run for the programed time. I set mine for 3 minutes but you can pick any duration you want. My local alarm dealer installed the system for about $900. but this also gave me a remote start, a lock and unlock with a symbol on the remote to let me know the status. This alarm system covers the entire truck including the cap windows and has a 1000 yard range to comunicate whats happening back to my remote. This cost also included adding an accesory 12 volt and 110 volt outlet in the back of the pickup bed and adding a led lighting system to the bed area. The rear light also works off the remote. I would guess that the additional items would cost at lease $200. so the basic system should be had for around $700. The alarm system also qualified my vehical for credit with the insurance company that I use.

I have looked at many brands, most are for ricers and only one uses temp. instead of just time and that is bd.

has any one used bd's cool down timer?? on a 3rd gen?
