I need help choosing a ratchet

We have a couple Dodges, but we are purchasing a Sterling(Ford) with a 3208 Catepillar engine. The truck is a straight truck Actera class I think. We drive in customers yards every day and 4 wheel drive is a must. Any info would be great .

The trucks that my brother drives at Detroit Edison have Marmon-Herrington units installed in them, but I'm not quite sure where they have them done at. S'pose I could ask if he knows or not...

When I was a volunteer firefighter all our rigs were 4x4. We had some new (1997 or '98 I think) Freight liners with Cummins and 4x4. Imagine that with a push button Ally trannies and 1500 gallons of water marching through the snow. Chained up all the way around they were nearly unstoppable. I miss the VFD!!!:(

Mack also does(or used to do) this for their customers out west pulling triples acrosss the mountain passes. I have seen many numerous Macks come from the local plant for UPS going out there. Our company has a few Cab over Volvos like that also for the same job... ... ... ... . Andy
