The Goodyear Gatorback belt, # 4080810 or Napa # 8PK2055 are lifetime warranted and don't squeak on shut down. Just picking one up you can feel that it's higher quality than most belts.

I bought my belt from Genos. It doesn't squeak at shutdown and appears to be of very good quality. Forgot what brand it was.

I put a new gatorback on my goat yesterday evening. Took maybe 15 minutes and that was taking my time. But I do miss the "schirpp" on shutdown... .....

I want to replace my belt... unlike most of the vocal ones. ;) . . I hate the screep at shutdown!

bill. . do you rem the cost of gator and napa ones?

Jim

I ran the numbers on Napa's website, it said the number I posted is no longer availible. It's been a couple years since I installed one, they must have discontinued it. Running the Goodyear number on their site gave me a Napa belt, that's not what you want. Have to look elsewhere I guess.

From what I understand is that the NAPA belts are made by Dayco now. They are pretty good belts have used lots on the fleet at work. I have a Gator-Back on my truck.
