Who watched Boise vs Oklahoma (Fiesta Bowl)

I'm a Nevada fan (went there). Boise was the whipping boy of the Big Sky conference for years. Seems that's all changed. That had to be one of the most exciting finishes of a game in a while. And a huge ballsy call going for two in OT! Nevada showed pretty well against Miami, but I think Boise is the real deal. The WAC did pretty good this year in bowl games. Oklahoma must be frustrated as all get out, losing on a bunch of back-of-the-book trick plays.

I saw the Boise State/OK game... WOW. What a game. The last 5 minutes of regulation and OT were great. One of the most entertaining games that I've seen.

My wife is the true football fan in our house but I watch some games with her. Last night was AWESOME!! When you live in Boise you get used to the snide comments that are often made--i. e. "I don't even know how to find Boise on the map!" (attributed to one of the OK players). It was nice to give them the run BSU gave them.



Being a former Nebraskan I have great respect for Oklahoma's ability to pull off last minute wins, so it was nice to see this one go our way.



I am really thankful BSU played Oklahoma and not Nebraska. Had the Broncos played the Huskers my wife would have self-destructed!

I wish that the voters would vote a split National Title and have Boise State getting a share of it. The BCS is a joke. Only way to crown a champion is a playoff system.



Do I believe that Boise State is the best team in the country?... no, but I think the voters should vote that way in order to help get rid of the BCS and move to a playoff system.

That was an awesome game and Boise deserved to win it. That being said, that is far from one of Oklahoma's best teams. They came in extremely overconfident, which was unwarranted because they aren't a very stellar team.



If OSU wins, they are National Champions hands down. It's one thing for Boise to beat OU, but OSU is far superior to OU. If by some chance OSU loses, then there could very well be a debate(although Fla would still be awarded the national championship) as to the status of Boise's undefeated season. In the end though you have to look at the quality of schedule and Boise's pales in comparison to a one loss Fla, or undefeated OSU.

If the NCAA would go to a playoff system, the real #1 would rarely be debated.

I think this was the best game since Doug Flutie threw the hail-Mary back in the 80's. BTW, being an Oklahoma State alumni, I just liked watching OU get humbled on national television.

My thoughts are that if OU had won, you would hear the resounding cry from the crimson and cream folks: "We beat an undefeated team, so we should be #1. The BCS is BS... . " ad nauseum...

I have to agree with the BSC is nonsense comments. I can not understand how anyone can think they are a national champion just because they are told they are. I would rather seem them go out and prove it. I would personally like to seem them get away from voters COMPLETELY and after everyone has played 12 games take the confernce champions and put them into a play off tournament. And may the best team win. No more of this BCS conference non/BCS stuff. Every confrense sends their champion to play.

Too many $$$$ in the bowls. What are there now, 34 bowl games or something insane like that? It's like hockey... almost everyone makes the post season. The PAPAJOHNS. COM bowl? Com'on, there are too many! Remember when it was the Rose, Sugar, Cotton, and one or two others? If you made it to a bowl back then, it meant you were good!
