I want to hear some of your racings stories... what kind of car or truck did you race and what was the outcome?



Nothing makes me more happy then when a Honda that looks tricked out pulls up next to me and wants to race. I'll I do is step on the go pedal and say see ya later. My truck is hardly even bombed yet ... but man I love this truck!

I am not a 3rd gen but I do have an interesting race story. I put in my 8'6" lance camper on the truck last weekend. I pull up to a stop light and the annoying car that has been tailgating me for the last few miles pull up along side. Problem is that the road goes back into one lane about 500 feet past the light. Now I know that I should behave myself but it is just to tempting. I look over and see the car is a new maxima so I figure I should flip the box to high. Light goes green and I start off first just light on the throttle only to see the maxima driver floor it as if to say "No way camper". So I did what any self respecting TDR member would do... Floor it! I am proud to say that my truck and 2000lb camper made short work of one very surprised maxima!! I can only imagine the look on the drivers face.

I think I might have a problem. Now I cant control that darn right foot even with a camper aboard!

I work near MicroSoft and lots of those weenie's drive expensive fancy cars. Acces to the local freeway is via two lane on ramp. You wouldn't believe how surprised the guys in their 3 series BMW's are when they figure they'll dart past my old truck (93 CTD at the time) and once they get along side me, I stomp on it and dump a lung full of black smoke on their shiny paint as I pull away.

2001 Gran Prix GT

My younger brother has the above mentioned GP, we lined them up from a dig, he got the jump on me, but once the turbo spooled it was over. From a 25mph roll, there was no jump to be had, I put about 6 truck lengths on him.



Just last week, a good friend of mine got a 1500 Hemi. They are pretty quick. From a dig, he got the holeshot (Auto Vs 6 Speed) but thats all he got. He shut down before I had a chance to run him down, only ran them up to 55mph or so, (Pretty busy road)

I was pulling hard though.

After a dyno event I went cruising through downtown Worcester, MA on a Saturday night.



In between trying not to hit people crossing the streets and staring at all the skirts... . there was a lot of stop and go at stoplights. There were a few kids at one stoplight who saw the truck and said: "SMOKE 'EM!!!"



I was more than happy to ROMP on the soot pedal when the light turned green. Needless to say they got their smoke... . both the black and the white. I don't think they expected so much of the black, though. :-laf

Clayton ,like was said if you want more replys put it in the competition forum,there arent many 3gs modded yet,and that where you posted it. Most kills are from modded 2gens,mine included.
