What Is the Max. Safe Boost Pressure for a PDR HX-35

Nitrous Express

WOW. That is all I can say. Yesterday while up at MassDiesel I asked the question my inner self has held back for so long. "Dude ... . Got EDM's? " ..... "Yup I sure do DAWG" Well now that the trans is healthy once again whaddyah say? So out came DDIII's in went the EDM MDS Mass Diesel Specials) series ;) (Or EDM X?X's) Prolly equate to a mach 4 type thang.

Well lets just say that ALL the stories you read about them are true. I have been on the back bench for soooo long reading and hearing about them that I finaly had to bite. Here is what I have found so far:

It Idles like a quiet 12 V

COMPLETELY changed the way the truck drives in terms of

Throttle control

Drivability (If ya want to keep the soot cloud down in Normalsville you can)

Spool up

But flick on the box  THEY RESPOND.

With the box on Crop duster mode I noticed right off the bat that spool up was noticably faster. Seccondly they seemed to pull higher than the DDIII's (In terms of rpm) So does that mean that the spray pattern is that much more efficient ... . Could be just that. The DDIII's seemed to yank you harder in the seat on launch down low whereas theese seem linear and predictable

What is even more freaky is that with the box off and cruizin steady on flat @ 70 my egt's are DOWN  allmost 100 degrees down  But they are bigger!!

However one miss is the instant SOOT DUMP the DD series provided for the fool right off your back bumper :(

So all in all theese things are just plain SICK! Scott Thanks for opening my wallet for me!!!!!!!

Congratulations on the EDM's! Are they the same ones I tried a little bit back? Aren't they the sweetest injectors you've ever driven?

My understanding is they atomize better, so you get a better burn and more power with the same amount (or less) fuel. My experience seems to bear that out. If you ask me, it translates directly into FUN!!!

You going to be around on Friday? Giving test drives?

MTE

wheaties you pm box is full

congrats TMTT

heres the pm question

what does

MTE

MTY

stand for, just curious

Thanks,

Bob

Holeshot and I used to hang out together back here in the great NorthEast. Seems like most of us up here are named Tim, then there's Holeshot and me, both named Matt.

So we started signing MTE and MTY for 'Matt the Elder' and Matt the Younger' and it kind of caught on. Thanks for telling me my PM is full.

Matt

ToolMan, you really have to give some thought to what to do with those DDIII's, you can't just put them in the tool box to set they'll have issues, they'll have attachment issues and probably enter into some sort of denial about not being loved anymore, eventually they may become dependant on illicit chemicals and well you know the rest of the story. Of course I know of a big white dually with 255 BFG's that you could stick them in just so they would think nothing ever happened. It's just like kids, they need to be loved. It would be like going to a foster home with your parents..... :D :D

You had better get a 15-pack roll of paper towels and a tarp. I'll be drooling all the way to CT over Carmella.

MTY - physically in Cheeseland, mentally in New England.
