Whole lot of mud flap needed

my dually has no mud flaps. Just bought it, has cooper 295/70r 17. Want to keep larger tire for g56 gearing. They have a spacer and tires stick out couple inches from finders. Flinging water mud straight in the air. Breaking no local laws of course DOT says otherwise...Been looking online, nothing I’m seeing I like. Just hanging flaps from inner finder looks too close to tire. Not so sure of space thickness needed between tires, for hauling heavy. Not sure of thickness of shims on it now. Can see gap in avatar pic.,close to 2”. Your thoughts ?
