The Vp44 Is from Schields they rebuilt it I think most Vp44s are Remaned , I didnt get the hot Version as it was $800 more and you can double what you would of gained with the Hot Rod ... other ways and for less $$$

Also the 027 Stock VP flows better than the HO 028 Vp44 Imagine That , There the same Price too

How do you figure you can gain more for less money?

You hit a wall with even the ETC pump, thats why they offer a HRVP44 version. The Hot Rod pump will make more power than a stock ETC pump, and will allow you to make better use of the real big injectors.

What I am trying to say, is you will reach the limits of the stock ETC pump, with say a drag comp or any wire tap box, and those 7x14's(I understand you sold your comp, but the timing from it would have helped you quite a bit. )

Now, you can make better use of those injectors if you switched to a hot rod pump and say oversized connector tubes, then put your comp back on.

Any way you slice it your going to need a charger soon though.

Ive Heard that Combo Boxes dont play well with the Hot Rod Pumps ? If this is true then you can supass any Gain from going with a Hot Rod pump with a Normal Pump and a Combo Box . and do it for less $$$

Running No Comp and Love my truck again dont have to worry bout ECM's ,Vp44's and the Edge Crapping out anytime soon , Is it wrong to blame my troubles on the Comp... Possibly , But IMO You have to keep moving foward to prevent a Parade in reverse ,,, and in doing so THe Forulma Im going after dont include a Combo Box ,,, I would rather run a Super Chips

Thats Just My Opinions I have a bunch of friends who love there comps and they are pretty cool , But out of them a few of them I know have been threw about 10 Boxes already , And I 3 of them . :(

New Set up Planned out as New Big Ol' Sticks (done) , A Nice Charger , Smarty then Im done ! Spent wayyyyy too much $$$ on my truck , and when people are asking which way to bomb I refuse to suggest something that didnt work for me personally as I hope others would do the same ,

Dont put a 21CM Ext . Housing On an Hx35 with stock sticks ... LOL That didnt work out to well :)
