Who's Bombing with a 48RE?

are these new auto's holding up any better to the boxes or should i just plan on another 6-speed. anyone tried a bullybox? problems? hate to get an auto and not be able to mildly "bomb"it.

I have had no problems with my setup 48re, edge ez, afe filter rest stock. Next month the muffler will be replaced with a donaldson truck muffler. Still getting about 18-18. 5mpg solo and 11-12mpg towing, and plenty of power. You should have no problems. Just remember you gotta let the engine breath and exhaust so it's a combination not just the box. You also need gages. I'm sure there are more knowledgeable people @trd that can give you more advise.
