Here I am

Who's going to BOMB this???

Thanks, TDR Staff

Something REALLY worthy of gettting ticked off about

Pledge of Allegiance: Unconstitutional

Check out this sorta cool rig.

This is just crying out to be SERIOUSLY BOMB'ed. More power, more speed, bigger wheels... . Man, it's the perfect project :)

Apparently Segway has different keys containing a chip for different top speeds. Saw them driving it over a pile of 6" diameter rocks, it did ok. Twelve mile range for $5k doesn't appeal to me.

Interesting concept... ... ... ...

But where does the 5th wheel hook up? :D

What's the GVW?

Can you "Chip" it?

Can You fill it up at the "Big Rig" pumps?

Where's the compressor for the air horn?

Will it rattle?

If not, then what good is it?

EGADS...

Imagine trying to maneuver that thing

on a crowded sidewalk. First thing I'd

do is install a set of Grover air horns! :D

I saw an interview on 20/20, or one of those shows a few days ago with the guy who invented it. When they come out next year I think the price was going to be around $3500 or $4000 dollars. The police and post office get first the first batch.

If the mail carriers get 'em, maybe our TDR mags. will get here quicker. :)

I'll get one to tool around the campgrounds with, and then you can call me Good Sam Man. I wonder if it has enough power to tow a wagon for Mrs Doc?

Where do you put the AA batteries?

Doc

I think these things are going to cause lots of trouble. Look at the conflict between bicycles and cars. When people start riding these on sidewalks at 10 or 12 MPH, pedestrians will be getting pretty upset. The first time I have one run me off the sidewalk I will knock em of the darn thing!*(if I can catch 'em)

Around here they have banned skateboards from the sidewalks and parking lots, that will probably happen to these.

Power Wagon asks'

This is just me talking, but, if they made me drive one of those things around for patrol, I'd find another line of work real quick  .
