curatchko or Dixie Dawg,

I have been trying to decide which gauges I want for too long now, and I think these VDO Visions might be the ones. I'm looking for something that matches the stock instruments as close as possible, both during the day and at night.

If you don't mind, I have a couple more questions.

-Does the pointer light up orange? It was hard to tell if it lights up or not looking in the picture.

-Also, what is the range on the trans temp gauge. I see it goes up to 400deg which seems high. What does it read on the low end?

Thanks,

Chris

c-hawk,

Yes the pointer lights up just like the factory gauges. You can read about them on the VDO website. I think there is an LED behind the pointer.

On the 400 degrees, yeah I thought that was high too... there might be a lower one out there... . the website might say.

Something else to consider:

I got an email yesterday from ISSPRO stating that they were now producing their EV gauges with a red/orange pointer. They should match the factory guages pretty well.

I started a thread on it in the product section.

I just need to call around now to see who has them.

I cannot get them yet.

I am a dealer for Isspro, I have several sets on backorder. The red pointer gauges should be here within 10 days. I can't wait to see them.

Shop around,

I like the Autometer Ultra lites, Summit has the cheapest(i could find) fuel (15psi) and isolator kit together, geno's isn't bad I got a couple from them.

Will there be a retro-fit for the older non-orange needled guys?

Red pointer gauges are avaliable.

But only the pyro and boost so far. The transmission temp w/ red is a few weeks away. Isspro says there is no retrofit or trade in on the white needle gauges. I might be able to work out some kind of trade in on the white gauges. I have several sets w/ red on the way.
