They are a local company here and do good work. I didn't even know they had a website though. I just had them rebuild the heads on the boys Toyota great work at a good price.
I am not affiliated with them in any way. Just passing along my experience with them.
When i first saw the add i thought it said $7999, so yes, i agree that doesn't sound too bad, i ran a search for aluminum cummins parts and came up with this. Not aluminum but still pretty cool if they're new and have meat for port work.
I had a bench seat for my 92 club cab shipped from a company in BC canada, and it cost a fortune because of customs and such. It may have been because it was such a large crate, but still it cost a fair amount of money.
Mcarcerano, great stuff that's exactly what i was looking for but have never been able to find. They talk about bonding steel combustion chamber inserts onto the al heads for heavy duty apps. i wondered if a ceramic coated chamber on the al head would work?? Oh well, who knows, it's nice to dream.
I think ceramic coating would work but don't know for how long. In our race eng's it lasts about 20 races. It would be fun to mess with one of those heads and blocks well I guess we will have to wait.
