Here I am

Who's heard of the Edge turbo?

Thanks, TDR Staff

New 06 on its way(break in?)

RC, I can't say what they are actually. I do know they are not off-the-shelf parts. The end result of our testing yielded parts that had to be modified from the original offerings. Both wheels are modified from the standard Turbonetics offerings. Both housings are custom.

I've sure had good luck with the Bell WSB that Diesel Dynamics traded me for the broken Ball Bearing turbo.

This is a WSB, which is what I wanted, not the larger USB. I've had both. Point is, when the BB turbo failed it looked like it was going to be a very long time before the problem was solved. DD offered to give me a different turbo worth about the same amount. I felt that they stood behind the product very well. Never heard anymore about the BB turbos. Sorry I didn't get a chance to try one out in the twins.

It can make 500 HP, but it will be a very hot 500 HP.

Expect to see upwards of 1450F on the street with that kind of power.

DYNO EGT is useless!!

From your signature, you run a HX-40 and make 524hp. If the HX-40 can do that, this turbo is much better suited to that situation.

Spec's say 2003-2005 M. Y..... is 2006 M. Y. on the horizon???

As soon as we test fit one, yes, it will be available. Until the boxes are out to do the boost fooling, we won't though. Probably another month or so.

Neither turbo is capable of doing what I really want to do. My Current HX40 is getting replaced by something completely different... of my own design very soon.

Hey Keith, I have the BB I bought on an 05 there in Vegas, with over 20K troublefree miles on it. It's a DRW, and running a TST, and soon to get a DTT transmission. I had no complaints, and is working very well.

Glad to hear Fred. The only one I had on file for you was the one that Bill B got. If you have another one from the early batch, gimme a call and I'll exchange it out for a new one for you. :)

enough that requires a density ratio of about 5 at 3000 rpm. ;)

Not going to get that with a HX40 or a T-58. Or any other streetable single turbo for that matter.
