Well, that was a little misleading, but... ..... Several of us members are trying to get a cummins conversion forum going, and it would be seriously appreciated if any of you who are interested would post a reply at the following thread:

As to the misleading part, well, there is a lot of interest in allison transmission conversions, as it seems the currently available stuff just isn't quite tough enough to stand up to the HP and torque some of our monsters can produce. Please give us a hand here and post a reply. Thanks
 
conversion

I have done Cummins/_______ conversion plates for John Deere, Case, etc. We just did a Powerstroke to GM conversion plate, also. (Don't ask why - whatever the customer wants he can have!) I have the block drawings for the Cummins, so would only need the layout of the Allison to machine the plate. Let me know if there is any interest. It is also possible that a standard (available from Cummins) SAE bellhousing would work???? I have no idea what the Allison looks like. Ray
