Sorry for the wait. My computer is still screwed up. Hope these work. I am pulling my Jeep to Moab tomarrow and I will let you know how it tows

Fozzy, can you give us the specs on those rims? Like size, backspacing, and offset? They look like they stick out just enough for my tastes.

Fozzy,

Never mind. I just went back and read that you have the 35" PJ's and a 6" lift. Still curious about the wheels though. From what I read in your previous post it looks like you used 10" wide wheels. Is that right?

I, like a lot of others are curious as to what fits on what wheel with what lift and what doesn't. I don't want tires rubbing anywhere on my truck.

I have 10' wide wheels and they do rub a little when you turn hard to one side and go threw a dip, They do not rub the control arms at all. They rub the inside fender flare just a little. If I did not have the flares they would just clear. I would recomend 8. 5" wheels if I was to do it again. I like the wide look, but hate any rubbing. Can't wait for some one to make wheels that fit this truck. Pretty sad when you can just clear 35" tires with 6" of lift. My 2nd Gen truck cleared 36-14. 40-16 with 10" wide wheels and no rubing at all, no matter how hard you tried with 6"

:D Moab rules and so does driving a CTD. It sure is fun passing your buddies up the canyon even if your truck is lifted (they drive brand F). The truck drove great, did not wander or pull to one side or the other. The ride was awesome, I think it rides way better than it did stock IMO. I felt the stock front shocks needed better valveing. I did not have any vibration problems from anything but the big lugs on the tires (FYI, PJ's are 10 ply). Drivelines seem fine for now. Brakeing is a little down but not much. MPG's are down just a little. I have not had my spedo recalabrated yet and this made the truck shift a little funny. I took MPG's from known distances and gallons put in the tank. Stock going to Moab I would get just over 19 MPG. Lifted, I was getting 17. 8. The overhead computer reads 13. 3 right now. I drove from speeds 0 to 90mph with no problems. I have always loved big tires, 10" and 38" tires was what I was going to put on at first. More and more of my toys need to be pulled places to use them so I decided to go with the 6" and 35"s. I still have a truck that looks ok, handels great, has a butt load of power and gets awesome milage. I plan on putting on dual Bilstein resevior shocks up front and singles in the rear for a little bling. I think I will keep the rear blocks and add traction bars. Axle wrap is a little more noticable with the bigger tires and blocks. But come on guys we drive CTD's, how can we help not twisting things up. :D

I'm running the Superlift 6" plus their 3/4" coil spacers on my dually with 37" BFG MTs (they measure a true 37"). Check out my readers rigs link. I love the kit, great ride

Did you use the 3/4" spacer to make up for your bumper and winch? or did you need the room to clear your tires? Looks awesome. What do you think of the grease zerks on the upper control arms. I can't get a gun on the top rear and the coil springs in the front make them hard to get.

Question for you guys. Does superlift make a kit without a 4. 5" block or am i gonna have to go with national spring company. .

Superlift makes sprins, and so does SJ for their kits, but dont' go with national if you do go aftermarket, I know 2 people personally with VERY bad experiences with them.

Fozzy,

Yeah that's why I greased them before install, not the greates place for them. I did the spacers cause the truck ended up a bit too much ass high for me, plus I figured if it sags over time which they usually do, it'll help.

By the way, your truck looks great

Yeah, just do superlift springs, I got springs from National once and they were a royal pain in the ass, and their springs weren't that great at all.
